Beautifully decorative French-style porcelain tray featuring an exquisite romantic courting scene at the center, surrounded by an intricate floral and foliate design in gilt, ivory, and turquoise green.

The rectangular tray has an elaborate gilt-decorated border with raised architectural-style detailing and ornate shell-form handles at either end. The central painted vignette depicts an elegantly dressed couple in an outdoor pastoral setting, framed by a wreath motif. The surrounding ground is exceptionally detailed with fine gold floral and foliate decoration, creating a rich, jewel-like appearance.
