Exceptional late 19th-century Victorian majolica serving tray featuring an elaborate molded and pierced border with dimensional leaf and foliate decoration. The oval center showcases a striking antique palette of soft ivory, olive green, brown, and richly shaded plum/purple decoration, giving the piece a dramatic and highly decorative appearance.
The ornate openwork handles and sculptural leaf border make this an especially beautiful example for display on a dining table, sideboard, buffet, or étagère. Its elaborate Victorian design is equally suited to traditional, European, maximalist, or collected interiors.
Circa late 19th century, approximately 1870–1900. Maker is currently unconfirmed; underside markings, if present, should be photographed before listing. Sold as an antique/vintage majolica piece based on visual characteristics.
